We are looking for a part-time studio assistant to help pack and ship our line of products from our San Diego home studio. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing products for quality control, packaging, labeling and assembling products for retail. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, is enthusiastic about collaborating in a creative environment, and maintains a steady and exceptional eye for detail.

Compensation $17/Hour + bonus opportunities
Hours 15-25 hours per week. Studio hours Monday-Friday 9am-10pm
Location Normal Heights, San Diego (92116)

Physical demands

  • Must be able to work with your hands assembling & packaging
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to climb a small step stool
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs

What you’ll be doing

  • Packaging products which may include: sleeving cards, stickering products, assembling boxes, attaching tags, etc.
  • Checking products for damage or defects
  • Pulling customer orders to prepare for shipment
  • Checking orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Handling products with care during packing and fulfillment, while working quickly
  • As a test of your attention to detail, include “plant-inspired gift and stationery” as your answer in your application for “what product offering does Paper Anchor Co. provide”
  • Remaining conscious of stock and items that need to be replenished/re-ordered
  • Remaining organized during all tasks
